Lansky 4-Pack Curved Blade Knife Sharpening Stone Kit

The new Lansky's Curved Blade Hones have been specifically developed to make the challenging task of sharpening inwardly curved blades (concave), such as karambits, kukris, and scythes, easier. These hones are available in four different grits: Coarse, Medium, Fine, and Ultra Fine. The Coarse and Medium grits feature alumina oxide abrasive, while the Fine and Ultra Fine grits use Silica Carbide abrasive. The complete set includes all the necessary tools to bring any dull or damaged inwardly curved blade back to razor sharpness.

The set of four hones includes coarse, medium, fine, and ultra fine grits. Designed to be used with the Lansky Sharpening System, these curved blade hones are perfect for sharpening inwardly curved blades that other knife sharpeners may struggle with. Made specifically for curved blades like Karambits, Hawksbills, Kukris, and Scythes, these hones have a curved design that allows for easy sharpening.

The multi-grit hone set consists of four blade sharpener hones: a coarse hone (120 grit) for edge reconditioning, a medium hone (280 grit) for sharpening and touch-ups, a fine hone (600 grit) for frequent touch-ups, and an ultra fine (1000 grit) ceramic knife sharpener stone for polishing to a razor sharp edge.

The hones are constructed from Alumina Oxide and Silicon Carbide, making them durable and suitable for use with honing oil. For best results, it is recommended to use Lansky Nathan's Natural Honing Oil (sold separately). While honing oil is not necessary, a few drops can help protect the stone and preserve the blade during sharpening.
