The Sashimi Knife has a long, narrow blade, similar to those traditionally used in Japanese cuisine to prepare sashimi or sushi. This blade shape also lends itself to delicate carving tasks, such as thinly slicing beef, poultry, or cooked fish before plating.
Hand-sharpened by highly skilled artisans, the full-tang X-7 Damascus steel blade ripples with a beautifully hammered surface that encourages sliced foods to slide right off.
With faux wood grain in blue and black, the lightweight and durable octagonal handle is secured with a single mosaic rivet as a luxurious finishing touch.
Presented in a deep blue wood magnetic Saya-style sheath for secure storage, the exceptionally sharp knife makes a sensational wedding, graduation, or housewarming gift.
The forged, full-tang blade has a 60 +/- 2 Rockwell Hardness Rating. This knife is long enough to slice most fish and other meats but is still a nimble extension of the hand. Hand wash only.
